The Service is owned and operated by Reading Bells and is offered to you (hereinafter referred to as "Member") .By clicking the box entitled "I Have Read and Accept the Terms of Use" as part of the registration process, Members accept all items in the Terms of Use and agree to abide by and be legally bound by the Terms of Use.
By browsing, visiting and using Reading Bells Website, you accept and agree to abide by these Terms of Use. Reading Bells reserves the right, from time to time, with or without notice to you, to change these Terms of Use in our sole and absolute discretion. The most current version of these Terms of Use can be reviewed by clicking on the "Terms of Use" located at the bottom of the pages of the website of Reading Bells.
The information which is submitted on the Reading Bells Website is subject to our Privacy Policy, the terms of which are incorporated herein.
Reading Bells is an online membership based Book Library service that allows its members to rent books through its website located at http://www.readingbells.com
Create an ID on the website by signing up. The registration is free. Select the Membership Plan as per your Reading Habit and Select the book you wish to read from the various available categories. If the book which you wish is out for circulation, you can “Add to Wishlist”. You will be notified once it is available. We deliver the book which you selected in 1 to 2 working days to your doorstep free of cost. As per your plan, you can choose 1 book or 2 books at a time. You have to return the book as per your plan selected. Once you have finished reading, inform us via the website. If the book is not returned within due date, then One Month Fees will be charged from the Deposit. We do free pickup of the books once you are done reading. You can also select for next set of books by choosing " Exchange", it will be handed once you have returned the earlier books. IF you simply wish to return the book after reading, you can select Return Option from the Website.
We reserve the right to allocate and deliver books among our members in any manner that we, in our sole and absolute discretion, determine. In addition, we will, in our sole and absolute discretion, determine the quantity of books we purchase for any particular title and the level of staffing and number of deliveries to be processed at each distribution centre.
Reading Bells reserves the right to request return of any and all book(s) in the possession of Members at any time. Members understand and agree to promptly return any book(s) to Reading Bells upon request, and that failure to do so within two days, for which Reading Bells reserves the right to charge one Month’s Rent to the Member's refundable security deposit. If the Book when returned is found to be in a damaged condition, the cost of the book would be charged from the Member’s Deposit.
Upon becoming a Reading Bells member, members become responsible for paying periodic subscription fees according to the then current billing terms and subscription plan. Subscription fees are non-refundable.
A member may change plans at any time. Upgrades in plans will only result in billing the difference of the plans. Downgrades in plans will affect the next billing cycle. No refunds for partial months of use will be credited. Future billing cycles will be billed at the new rate.
You may cancel your subscription to Reading Bells™ at any time, and cancellation will be effective immediately. WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY PARTIAL-MONTH SUBSCRIPTION PERIODS OR UNREAD BOOK(S). To cancel your membership you need to call on our customer care numbers on +91 XXXXXXXXXXXX and request the same to our customer care executive. Upon cancellation, you will be given 5 days to return any outstanding rentals. Failure to return such rentals will result in your Payment Method being billed for such items. Reading Bells™ reserves the right to terminate your membership for any or no reason. Disclaimers of Warranties and Limitations on Liability.
In the event that your membership is cancelled, we will refund your security deposit after ensuring all outstanding charges applicable have been processed. We Transfer the Deposit Amount to the bank details shared by you from your registered email address within seven working days.
All books sent to a member are verified to be in a good condition prior to dispatch and condition of each book is recorded in our system. Upon receipt of the books, you must ensure that the books are in good condition. Any damage, if found, must be reported to our representative and conveyed to ReadingBells customer service via email or phone. At the time of pick-up, our representative will check for any damage to the books and will intimate you accordingly. Upon receipt of the books, we will verify the condition of the book against the condition recorded in our system before dispatch. If a book is returned to ReadingBells damaged as a result of member misuse, ReadingBells will charge you the market value of each damaged book against the security deposit.
In order to provide easier access to your account, Reading Bells™ may place a small text file (known as a "cookie") on any computer from which you access the Reading Bells™ website. If you return to the Reading Bells™ website from that same computer, the cookie enables Reading Bells™ to recognize you, without the need for you to sign in to your account.
All Legal issues would be subject to Surat Jurisdiction.
